Troop 211 has always been blessed with a plethora of qualified adult leaders and concerned
and active parents. The registered adult leaders of the Troop are well trained with all
assistant scoutmasters having participated in Scoutmastership Fundamentals. Further, more
than a third of the registered Scouters in the Troop are woodbadge trained. Members of the
adult staff of the Troop are also currently active in the following council and district
positions: Council Camping Committee, Scout Roundtable Commissioner and Roundtable Staff,
Pimaree Chairman, Lodge NOAC Advisor, Lodge Conclave Advisor and 1997 National Jamboree
Staff.
Troop policy requires that all families be involved in some way with
the operation of the Troop. Additionally, each family is required to participate in at
least one activity during the year. This activity can be as simple as providing
transportation for a campout, to spending a week at summer camp.
